| Child and Parent Programs Northwood Neighbourhood Services operates two Family Resource Centres. Kids Place, located at Keele and Wilson and Weston Family Resource Centre which is located at Weston an Sheppard. Both centres are designated Ontario Early Years Satellites. |

| Our centres offer programs for families and caregivers with children who range in age from newborn to six. Focus groups, questionnaires and needs assessments are conducted on a regular basis in order to determine the needs of the participants. Workshops are offered on a variety of topics and parents and caregivers are given the opportunity to share crafts and cooking together. The participants have indicated that they feel more confident and knowledgeable about parenting since attending our programs and they have formed new friendships within the community. | |||||||||||||||

| Our children’s programs include music and movement, drama, arts and crafts, stories, circle time, preschool ESL and kindergarten readiness. We have received very positive feedback from parents and teachers alike who state that the children integrate into school routines quickly and easily after attending our programs. | |||||||||||||||
